Bethesda has opened preload access for the highly anticipated space RPG Starfield. At the moment, the game can only be downloaded through the Microsoft Store (including for Game Pass subscribers), while this option will appear on Steam only on August 30, 2023.
The client size on Xbox Series X is 100.1 GB when downloaded and 126.1 GB when installed. On the PC, the game “weighs” 116.6 GB when downloading and 139.8 GB after installation. Whether the size will be different on Steam is not yet known.
Starfield will release on September 6, 2023 for Standard Edition owners and September 1, 2023 for Premium Edition owners.
