Pan Studio has announced the release of the second major content patch for the anime action game Duet Night Abyss. Update 1.2, entitled Huaxu: The Wind Awakening – Chapter II, continues the story saga of the Huaxu region and expands the list of available heroes with two Electro-elemental characters.
The first to appear on the roster of characters was Zhilyu, a mysterious merchant whose appearance is inspired by traditional oriental motifs. You can get it for free for a month by collecting secret letters in Immersive Theater mode. It will then go to the in-game store. Later in the current chapter, Yuming, whose appearance is adorned with dragon scales, will join the party, and his personal story will be revealed through seven additional side quests.
An important innovation was the mount system, designed to simplify movement across the vast locations of Aglasia. The developers presented four types of mounts, including the mechanical sable Bian, available as a reward for completing in-game tasks. Along with this, the game introduced a mechanic for exchanging gifts between friends and a regional reputation system that encourages user activity in certain areas of the world. To automate routine battles, we added the ability to automatically restart missions with a “∞” sign. There is also support for French localization.
Along with the release of the update, the developers launched several events with rewards. One of them offers a new mode inspired by the auto-chess genre, in which you need to place units on the field to fight independently.
