During the passage of the seventh chapter, you will have to clear the castle of rats. This will require the use of some mechanisms. In this guide you will learn how to do it.
Upon reaching this area, you will come across the first brazier – light it up and move towards the stairs. Light the nearby brazier as well. Then take a stick and set it on fire. Thanks to this, you will pass between both light sources and reach the stairs.
At the top you will find a mechanism. Turn it all the way – the rats will fall into the moat, and Meli will be able to pass.
Move on to the next mechanism. Light the hearth located just below you and interact with the lever. Ask Meli to move the lever, and continue on while in the area of illumination. Then light the next brazier and climb onto the ledge. There, move the light source as far as possible.
Wait for Meli’s machine to pass you and return to the starting point. Mellie is waiting for you there. Climb up to the next mechanism. Lower the bridge and return to the lever. Light another mobile brazier and go down to the lighted place.
This way you will reach the next brazier. Light it up and take a stick. This will help you get to the stairs. To climb up, you need to light a torch. Move the brazier there. Meli will then release the mechanism, causing the rats to escape.
Finally, move the outer mechanism that you moved before. This will push all the rats into the ditch.
