Crossfire X has received a new trailer at Gamescom 2021, showcasing the various multiplayer modes, as well as a meaningful “coming soon” at the end. It probably means that very soon we can expect new details and perhaps even a date for the long-awaited release of the Xbox exclusive.
Recall that Crossfire X is a free first-person shooter developed by South Korean company Smilegate in partnership with Microsoft for the Xbox One and PC platforms. The project will contain many new features and graphics compared to the original.
The release date for the Crossfire X is still unknown. In November 2020, the release was pushed back from Q4 2020 to 2021. In its latest annual report, Remedy developer studio said the release is expected in 2021.
