The streamer, Bushy, has invested more time into FromSoftware games than almost any other fan of the genre on the planet. He already has about 4,000 hours of experience under his belt. Elden Ringbut he doesn’t plan to stop – now he’s a streamer intends complete the game 726 more times using a specially ordered mod.
On August 3, Bushy launched a marathon, within which he decided to walk Elden Ring using every weapon and shield in the game – this amounted to a total of 447 separate playthroughs. On August 26, the challenge expanded: all Ashes of War, staves, seals and spells were added to it, which raised the total number of passages to 726.
The idea is to create a complete video library that clearly demonstrates how each possible attack style copes with all bosses Elden Ring. To implement the idea within a reasonable time, Bushy turned to a programmer for help and ordered a special mod.
In a video dedicated to the Black Flame spell, the streamer talked about the new tool: “I ordered a mod to make this series even bigger and better.” The mod simplifies exploration and progression in each individual playthrough, eliminating the need to collect the same items over and over again.
With its help, upgrading flasks, merchant upgrades, and collectible talismans are now available through a special menu or are issued automatically after defeating story bosses that open up new areas of the map. Previously, all these items had to be searched manually at locations, which would have taken an unreasonably long time with so many playthroughs.

At the same time, the mod does not in any way affect the combat encounters with bosses themselves, because they remain the main goal of the entire challenge – only the path to them is made easier.

Even with this optimization, each individual playthrough still takes several hours. If Bushy actually follows through with the idea, the total time spent in Elden Ringmay approach 7000 hours. Currently, about 20 walkthroughs have been completed out of 726 planned.
Bushy has long been known to the community for some of the strangest and most difficult challenges in Elden Ringincluding randomizers, runs with an infinite number of Melenia and runs without dying on difficulty NG+7. The new marathon looks like a logical continuation of this series of content, capable of generating material for streams almost endlessly.
