Mundfish showed a whopping 22 minutes of gameplay from Atomic Heart. There is a lot there, but let’s go in order. The first thing that catches your eye is the graphics. It is made on a level: bloody footprints, poisonous pollen, green splashes from enemies, and so on. The overall setting is reminiscent of BioShock with a touch of the “Soviet dream”. The developers promise artificial intelligence that will control all ground and air creatures. Voice acting at the height and the voices of the actors are “premium”.
On the other hand, the dialogues and movement between the “arenas” (more on them later) seem to be heavily scripted and if they cannot be skipped, then it will be difficult to play the second time. Basically we have DOOM (the soundtrack is written by Mick Gordon), only the action does not take place in the Underworld. Players move between zones and clear them of robots / monsters.
Atomic Heart will be released on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, as well as PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game can now be added to your wishlist. No release date. System requirements bite:
