After worldwide closure, MMORPG Mir M comes to China

The South Korean company Wemade has officially confirmed the release date of Mir M: Vanguard and Vagabond in China. The release will take place on January 13, 2026 on PC and mobile devices running iOS and Android. Let us remind you that the game was previously released in South Korea and on the global market, but then was closed. Thus, Mir M will only be supported in China.

Along with the launch of Chinese servers, a large-scale affiliate program called Mir Partners is starting. This initiative is aimed at creating an active gaming community where users will be able to directly participate in promoting the game and moderating thematic platforms. Program participants who demonstrate high involvement in the development of the project ecosystem will be able to count on receiving special in-game privileges and various incentives depending on their contribution to the popularization of the product.

Mir M: Vanguard and Vagabond is a modern reimagining of the classic MMORPG The Legend of Mir 2, which in the mid-2000s held more than half of the online gaming market in Asian regions and attracted hundreds of thousands of concurrent users. According to the developers, they sought to preserve the key mechanics of the original, loved by series veterans, while significantly adapting the content to the current needs of the Chinese market. In addition to visual updates and reworking of combat systems, current social trends and specific activities characteristic of modern representatives of the genre were integrated into the game.
