The organizers of the Tokyo Game Show are preparing to set a personal record for the number of exhibition stands. 731 companies (448 from Japan and 283 from abroad) volunteered to participate this year, which is less than last year. However, the number of exhibition stands reached 3190 – this is a record in the entire history of the TGS.
Major companies include Sony Interactive Entertainment, Nintendo, SEGA/ATLUS, SQUARE ENIX, CAPCOM, Amazon Games, NEXON and Bandai Namco Entertainment. Unfortunately, Microsoft will skip TGS this year and won’t even take part online. The full list of participants can be found at official document.
Let us remind you that this year the Tokyo Game Show 2024 will be held from September 26 to 29, 2024. You shouldn’t expect any big announcements from this event, but there will be a huge amount of details about the expected new products.
