Studio Pieces Interactive announced the postponement of the release date of the psychological horror Alone in the Dark, which is a restart of the entire series. The release will not take place on October 25, 2023, as previously reported, but only on January 16, 2024, that is, almost three months later.
The reason for the transfer, oddly enough, is not the need for additional time for polishing, as is often the case. The developers decided to postpone Alone in the Dark due to a glut of game releases. In particular, the announcement mentions such projects as Spider Man 2 and Alan Wake 2. However, the team promises not to waste time in vain and spend these three months making the game even better.
