The alpha version of the MMORPG Ultima Online, subtitled New Legacy, should be released this summer, the developers said.
“With 2022 behind us, we are working hard to have Alpha NLS open by the middle of the year,” writes Bonnie “Mesanna” Armstrong. “I realize we’ve been silent, but I know we’re hard at work getting it up and running to provide you guys with a new shard to play with.”
Armstrong once again noted that the team is not planning a pure “classic” shard. “What we’re doing is mixing the old with some of the glitz of the new content to create a unique experience with the seasons.”
The announcement also discusses plans for the July Midsummer event, new veterans awards, and valentines.
