Astrum Entertainment announced the launch of an autumn update in the multiplayer first-person shooter Battle Teams 2. With the release of the patch, a new PvP season with a battle pass has started in the game, changes have been made to PvE co-op and the weapon arsenal has expanded.
The main rewards of the new PvP season will be the “Mechanic” character and his legendary MP5A3 “Eater” submachine gun. The updated seasonal store has been replenished with weapons from the popular Piranha, Flash and Record series, as well as the FNFAL Antique rifle. The legendary weapon series have returned to the Arsenal section of the game: “Cryonics” from the Stardust Institute, the “Giulio” series, created by the master gunsmith Giulio, and the “Predator” series, the developments of which previously served as the emblem of the Order of the Holy Fire.
The changes affected the PvE season, in which two new crystals for a crossbow and a sword appeared:
- The Fire crystal is focused on distance combat. His arrow knocks back and sets the target on fire, and activating the skill causes an explosion that increases enemies’ vulnerability to fire by 15%.
- The Duelist crystal is designed for close combat, warming up the blade for the final fiery blow.
The synergy between these crystals is that the enemy’s vulnerability to fire, created by Fire, increases the damage from a partner’s burning blade. Both crystals also allow you to create a temporary shield that helps knocked down allies within range of the skill return to duty.
The “Last Stronghold” and “Echoes of an Era” collections are once again available to players. The Last Stand collection offers the FN FAL Crusader Star Assault Rifle and the Star Sword from the same series as the main prize. Additional rewards include the Legendary Horseman Series weapons, which include the DT22 Shotgun, M14 EBR Marksman Rifle, and Frag Grenade. The Echo of an Era Collection features the crowning achievement of Master Giulio’s creation, the MK14 EBR Rebirth Star Marksman Rifle and Star Ax of the same series, created in honor of the master’s faith in humanity’s ability to overcome the consequences of the Great Crash.
