The developers of the upcoming session-based survival simulator Icarus had an hour and a half stream, during which they could see the live gameplay. Game designer Dean Hall, along with community manager Lori Gugich, showed the gameplay from the very beginning – from the moment of server selection, which shows the session start time and difficulty.
In the video, you can see various gameplay mechanics, such as collecting resources, crafting, inventory, pumping talents and characteristics, a technology tree, moving under water, building a house, and so on.
Icarus is planned to be released in three parts: First Cohort, New Frontier and Dangerous Horizon. The first of them will be released on PC in 2021.
