ThQ Nordic officially announced the Sacred 2 Remaster – a reissue of the isometric roe of the Sacred 2 Fallen Angel, which was released in 2008 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The project is developed for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, but the release date is not yet revealed.
Remaster Sacred 2 will include all the outputs and updates that are released, and will also offer improved graphics (textures, lighting, review range), a modified combat system, improved interface, full support of controllers, improved stability, as well as corrections proposed by the community.
In Sacred 2, players will have to explore the vast fantasy world of Ankaria, seized with unstable and destructive power, changing all living things. Within the framework of two parallel plot lines that embody the confrontation of light and darkness, the player takes part in events that can influence the fate of the whole world. Several unique characters who have their own skills sets, approaches to battle and the capabilities of interaction with the environment are available.
The game process Sacred 2 combines elements of research, battles and equipment collecting, offering hundreds of quests and a development system, which allows to adapt the player’s preferences. The project is distinguished by an open and seamless world, including detailed dungeons and vast landscapes, as well as the ability to use horses and auxiliary creatures, such as a pocket demarrier demon.
