The China Annulus TapTap page has an official post about the upcoming testing, probably without deleting the files.
Annulus is a mobile strategy with automatic battles that take place in small locations. The developers also added text dialogues and cut scenes to explain the plot. Judging by the footage seen, the developers of Annulus were clearly inspired by Middle-earth, as players find themselves in a dark fantasy world where several factions are fighting for a certain gem.
What’s interesting is that the next Annulus public beta is called “The War of the Rings”, further confirming the borrowing from The Lord of the Rings. Start date — September 23; so far, the developers have not announced on which platforms they will conduct PBT. According to a Chinese official post in Tap Tapthen it will be almost a release in the Middle Kingdom, while there is no information on the global version yet – on English site there is a small description.
