Embark Studios has released update 1.15.0 for the action shooter ARC Raiders, which launched the Shared Watch PvE event. According to the authors, this event should remind the survivors of the main enemy in the person of the ARC machines and encourage them to a temporary truce. Until February 24, users will receive merit points for destroying robots and helping other squads to unlock rewards. PvP encounters between players are still allowed, but they will not award points.
The Cold Snap weather condition has returned to the map rotation, turning familiar locations into snowy tundra. Low temperatures pose a direct threat to the health of characters due to frostbite, which forces them to seek shelter more often. To compensate for the increased risk, the overall value of loot that can be found in the open air has been increased. In addition, Candleberries and the ability to use snowballs have again appeared on the maps, although now these elements are decorative in nature and are not tied to specific tasks.
