Ascension shared details of the single player mode

The team behind the co-op action game Evercore Heroes: Ascension recently announced a new single-player mode – Hero Mode. It was first revealed in the last trailer, and now additional details have emerged. This mode is experimental, and it appeared as a result of numerous requests from players about the possibility of a single-player game.

Hero Mode will allow players to venture into the world of Lumeria alone, where they will have to fight enemies without the help of a team. This mode is suitable for those who want to practice before the main matches, test their strength in single missions, or just play alone without waiting for friends. The developers noted that the mode will be difficult, since players will have to rely entirely on themselves.

The difference between Hero Mode and the cooperative mode lies not only in the fact that the player acts alone, but also in the modified mechanics. For example, the hero’s health is not restored after completing tasks, and the choice of the hero becomes more important. In addition, the developers changed the number of enemies and objectives in the levels, adapting them for single-player play, but warned that this will not make the game easier.

Despite the introduction of Hero Mode, the developers emphasized that co-op is still a key part of Evercore Heroes. However, they want to give players more options to play with, especially when playing as a team is not an option. Hero Mode is still in the experimental stage, and the team plans to reveal more information about its development in the future. Perhaps players will be able to evaluate it in one of the upcoming game tests.
