If you are more interested in getting to the bottom of the truth yourself, then here is a tip on one of the clues:
Explore a secret tunnel near Grentebridge, where Eivor will find traces of yellow paint. Follow them (use Odin’s vision for convenience), and when you get to the river, turn right and head towards the swamps.
Pass between the islands, moving to the northeast of the city, until you see a bandit camp – it’s called the Sanctuary in Soham. It is quite far from Grentebridge, but that is where the very Drakkar is located. Examine it to learn important details of the quest.
