DICE studio announced an upcoming update with many bug fixes, rebalancing and other improvements for the first-person shooter Battlefield 2042. The developers continue to work on the quality of the game, fixing critical bugs and improving optimization, and tomorrow players will be able to download the latest patch number 3.1.
Major changes and innovations:
- Improved registration of bullet hits
- Changed dispersion and recoil when firing
- Additionally, the damage of 30-mm, 40-mm and 57-mm guns of ground vehicles against infantry has been reduced
- Fixed a rare bug where the player could become invisible to the enemy
- Fixed several bugs related to grenades and grenade launchers
- Improved game menu interaction for Xbox users to make it easier to opt out of cross-platform play
- The overall quality of sounds in the game has been significantly improved, their clarity, range of perception and positioning have been improved
Unfortunately, the exact time of the patch release is still unknown, but the release is scheduled for December 9th.
