Electronic Arts and DICE announced on the postponement of the release date of the multiplayer first-person shooter Battlefield 2042. The game will be released about a month later – November 19, 2021. Recall that the release was originally scheduled for October 22.
As the authors said, the global pandemic has created unforeseen problems for the development teams. At the moment, some of the employees are still working from home, since the current conditions do not allow them to safely return to the offices. Therefore, it was decided to take additional time to realize the vision of Battlefield 2042.
Also this month, they promise to reveal the details of the open beta testing of the game.
