Mojang has released a major graphics update for the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition Sandbox Preview. At the moment, only PC, Xbox and Android users can evaluate the changes, but in the future they will appear on other platforms.
The current version includes the following improvements:
- Physically Based Material Rendering – Blocks and Objects
- Primary lighting (sun and moon)
- Shadows
- Bloom
- Tone mapping
You can download the Minecraft preview for PC and Xbox directly from the Microsoft Store on a separate page. In order to install the game on Android, you need to go to a special page and click on the “Become a tester” button.
