MOBA League of Legends released update 13.18, which added a new champion named Brier. She is the result of experiments by hemomancers, who created her as the living embodiment of endless hunger. Over many years in prison, the girl managed to curb her animal instincts.

- Scarlet Curse (passive skill) – The effectiveness of Brier’s treatment increases as health is lost. Her basic attacks and skills briefly cause enemies to bleed (the effect stacks), which deals physical damage depending on the number of charges. Brier recovers health equal to a portion of this damage before applying protective stats. Brier has no base health regeneration and her skills cost health.
- Pounce [Q] – Brier jumps towards the target and briefly stuns them, and also deals physical damage and weakens armor. If Brier uses this ability on a minion or monster during Blood Frenzy, she stops attacking champions as a priority.
- Blood Frenzy / Snack [W] – Brier jumps to the chosen location and enters a Blood Frenzy state, pitting himself on the nearest enemy (priority is given to champions) for some time. In this state, she has increased attack speed and movement speed, and her basic attacks deal physical damage in an area. When the skill is used again, Brier strengthens his next basic attack. It deals physical damage based on missing health, and restores Brier’s health equal to a portion of the damage dealt.
- Horrible scream [E] – Beginning of preparation: Brier comes out of his Blood Frenzy state and begins to gather his strength. During this time, she takes less damage and restores health. Cast: Brier lets out a scream that deals damage based on cast time and briefly slows enemies. A fully charged scream knocks victims back. If an enemy hits a wall, he receives additional damage and is stunned.
- Certain death [R] – Brier kicks the hemolith and flies towards the first enemy hit, marking him as his victim. Upon arrival, she deals high physical damage to all enemies around her and intimidates them. Brier then goes into a heightened state of Blood Frenzy and hunts his prey until one of them is killed. While the effect is active, her armor, magic resistance, and movement speed are increased.
As is tradition, the update introduced balance changes for some champions. Jarvan IV, Kain, Rell, Tryndamere and Xayah were weakened, and Gwen, Irelia, Kennen, Senna and Thresh received buffs. Items such as the Circlet of the Shattered Queen, Spear of Shojin, Statikk Shiv, and Storm Razor have also been buffed. There were also some bug fixes.
