The developers of the cooperative action Starlight Re: Volver announced the closed pre-alpha testing. This stage will be held from March 7 to March 9, 2025 and will give the opportunity to look into the early version of the game for the first time, evaluating its current state. Access to the test will receive the participants in the official Discord server a project where the team will interact with users for all three days.
During the pre-alpha, two playable characters-Effie and Kira will be available to choose from. Effie fights in close combat with a huge hammer, while Kira relies on the exact distant attacks. Two more characters, such as Ren and Vivi, are not yet ready, but they promise to add in the next tests.
Players have to fight in one Bioma So Mi, where a difficult battle with the final boss awaits them. The ancient ruins in the sky are inhabited by stone golems, magical spirits and dangerous creatures called Kibi. Passing depends on the strategic selection of skills, charms and command resources, which become more important with each new level.
As part of this stage, the Central Social Hab – the Nishi Island metropolis, where you can walk in picturesque areas, evaluate the characters on the observation deck, go fishing or just relax under a blooming sakura. For mini-games with fishing, one location is open in this version-the berths of Farsky Docks. Here, players will be able to fill out their code by catching one of 40 unique fish.
A NPC named Clover will appear in the game, voiced by the popular Lilypichu content makeor. She also chose a name and outfit for her heroine, and also recorded a vocal part for the original Caramel track, which will sound in the Lucky Clover Cafe cafe. However, at the moment, the NPC does not interact with the players.
Testing participants will receive two exclusive costumes as a gift. Effie’s costume in the form of a funny bear can be created using the Lum resource, which is mined in the SO Mi races, and the spring outfit for Kira will be available to everyone who added Starlight Re: Volver to the list of desired in Steam.
