“British Invasion” has begun in World of Tanks on consoles

Wargaming has launched a new season in the console version of the World of Tanks multiplayer action game called British Invasion. Players will find another Seasonal Reward Pass and a host of new content awaiting them.

Four new maps have been added to the game: Lassville for WWII, and Erlenberg, Tipval Ridge and Raseiniai for WWII and Cold War modes. The developers also returned the contracts, which means that now it will be possible to see mercenary tanks, including the famous Tier X CT Chisel.

At the same time, the “New Year’s Gift” event started in World of Tanks on consoles. The temporary mode “Toy Tank” has returned to the game, in which it is possible to earn several different types of rewards, from personal reserves to a large amount of experience and silver. Various gifts are also given for daily entry. In addition, all players have access to a free bundle containing the BT-5 tank, a New Year’s access card and three days of a premium account.

“Along with the British Invasion launch, traditional holiday events and the long-awaited return of contracts, we’re proud to offer players a lot of new content to help them recharge in the New Year’s mood,” said T.J. Wagner, Creative Director, World of Tanks: Modern Armor. “We are looking forward to the opportunity to please the ‘tankers’ with exciting new updates in 2022.”

Season of British Invasion runs on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S until February 8, 2022.
