The plot of the game:

The protagonist named Grayson Hunt is the captain of the Dead Echo team. Together with his team, he carried out the tasks of General Sarrano, searched for and killed criminals. But one day, one of the tasks was the death of Bryce Novak, who, as it turned out, was a civilian reporter. Grayson and his crew, not wanting to be part of the government’s machinations anymore, fled and became space pirates.

Ten years later, making another raid on the distant planet Stygia, the protagonist again encounters the cruiser Odysseus, the ship of his former commander. Intoxicated with anger, he attacks the starship. Both ships crash and crash onto the surface of Stygia.

On a planet that was once a very popular tropical resort, the entire population has mutated, and now Stygia is simply teeming with mutants and cannibals. In addition, one of Hunt’s closest friends, Ishi Sato, is seriously injured. Due to serious injuries, it is necessary to install cybernetic implants not only in the body, but also in the brain of Isha.

But, despite everything, the hero is determined to take revenge on Sarran and, of course, leave Stygia. In search of a way out, Hunt goes to the Odyssey, where he meets a girl named Trishka Novak, the commander of the Final Echo squad and the daughter of the same Billy Novak, whom Hunt once killed on the orders of Sarrano. It was in order to avenge the death of her father that she entered the military service.

She agrees to help the pirates get off the planet, but on the condition that they rescue Sarrano. Then Hunt tells her that it was he who was responsible for the death of her father.

The heroes travel to the General’s escape pod, who tells them about the biological bomb in the Odyssey that will wipe out all life on the planet unless someone disables it. But when the heroes arrive on the ship, it turns out that Sarrano deceived them, and instead of disarming them, they launched a bomb. Now there is very little time left to leave the planet.

The heroes return to Sarrano’s escape pod, he attempts to shoot Hunt, but Ishi shields him with his body. Sarrano throws Trishka and Hunt out of the escape pod.

At the end of the game, Hunt and Hrishka leave Stygia in a spare escape pod from the Odyssey.
