The start of every match in Blackout mode looks like the start of a round in Fortnite or PUBG – we fly with all the other players in the same vehicle that we can jump out of at any moment.
The transport plane passes through the map in different routes, so we always have to land from the flight line. What area will we choose? It depends on how we want to play Blackout.
If we want to start a dynamic action from the very beginning, it is worth landing in the places of the next flight lines. However, if we want to travel peacefully around the map (as far as the death zone allows), we land away from everyone, and no one else lands near us.
Here, we decided to name a few places that are always worth paying attention to – so sometimes you even risk being in the crowd. These are places where we always find a lot of items.
Where to land – locations
At the beginning, we will post a map of the entire area so that you can refer to the locations described. We will list those in which landing should be considered, indicating all the pros and cons of a given place.
Dam
This is the place where we always find a lot of items and weapons if we go down into the dam – the entrances are located on both sides, surrounded by gray tin walls. The underpass always leads to the second exit.
Here, care must be taken due to poor visibility and the fact that it is easy to endanger yourself by leaving the inside of the dam, as someone may be watching the surrounding buildings with exits.
Range
Landing in this area is a guarantee of finding a decent weapon. Typically, there are many types of rifles and gadgets here, so if we can get here, we will definitely find something useful.
But you must look around. This place is full of obstacles, so theoretically at any moment someone could come out from behind a building or a wall. Listen carefully to other people’s steps.
Construction site
This area is good. The skyscraper under construction has many floors, next to it there is also a storey garage. We can find good weapons, perks and equipment.
Of course, it’s best to try to land as high as possible. It’s easier to carefully go down and look out for enemies. The tower also has a landing pad for a helicopter, and in some games we can find a helicopter.
commodity docks
Again, an area with a high density of various types of obstacles, in this case, mostly containers. Especially on the ship, you can feel like in a maze between them. Containers can also be searched, and it’s worth it because there are often items in there.
It is worth aiming at the crane above the ship. Landing on it, we will find the first weapon, and then – after inspecting the area – we can jump onto the containers (losing a dozen health points) and start searching the entire location. At the docks, the helicopter appears from the side of the water.
Turbine
There are two large hangars in this location. In the interior of each there are several rooms where we will find weapons of different types. Objects are also scattered across the floor.
It’s a rather isolated place, but many players often land there to arm themselves and shoot down enemies in the first or second minute of the game. In the hangar area, we often find a quad bike that will allow us to get to other places faster.
