Blackout in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a battle royale mode. And the most interesting competition is PvP with other players – solo or division into groups at will.
The creators have prepared an element that distinguishes PUBG or Fortnite mode. In Blackout, we can also find zombies on the map, and objects and weapons from the zombie mode appear in locations with dead people.
It is in these places that we will find a powerful Zweihander rifle or a monkey-shaped bomb with plates (which explodes when an enemy approaches).
Consequently, areas with zombies give a chance for more powerful equipment. The catch is that we have to spend ammo (and often health) to fight the zombies.
Areas with zombies
At the beginning, we present a map where we have marked all the zombie starting spots in the Blackout mode.
At the beginning of each match, there are always 5 areas in which we find undead and special items. These places include the building at the crossroads to the right of the road to the island (1), the lighthouse (2), the building on the river near the bridge to Turbina (3), Variatkovo (4) and the cemetery south of Variatkovo (5).
Landing in these places has its obvious advantages – we will find good equipment there. However, we must beware of the zombies. When you fight monsters, you must shoot them in the head. You also have to remember that other players can hear us shooting – so you should look for rivals who also want to look for gadgets and weapons in such places.
Thus, of all these places, Asylum seems to be the best. There is only one main reason – this is the largest building of all in which we fight zombies. By the way, it’s a little easier to maneuver here.
It’s also worth noting that zombie locations are marked with blue pillars of light that can be seen from a distance. They disappear only when the player opens a special chest with items – such places are guarded by a large group of zombies.

If a pole from one of these places disappears, it will appear in another area. It is worth exploring the area so as not to miss additional places with zombies.
