The maximum experience level in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in multiplayer is level 55. When we get to this level, we can – if we want, because this is not a mandatory action – activate the first level of Prestige.
Prestige is a system that has been present in the Call of Duty series for many years. This allows you to gain a new level of experience with visual changes to our emblem and level icon so that other players can see that we are already leveling up in Prestige.
Importantly, leveling up after level 55 does not offer any additional items or prizes associated with the game. This is just a bonus progression system for those who want to continually gain further levels of experience.
To activate your Prestige, click Prestige 1 on the Execute & Unlock tab.
Below you can see all the icons of the next Prestige stages. This is what appears next to our nickname, for example, in the scoreboard during a match.
Activating the Prestige and starting to acquire successive experience levels is associated with a reboot of all hardware. This means that we will lose all unlocked weapons, accessories, assets and items.
Regardless, the permanent unlock token lets you choose one item you want to keep – like our favorite main weapon. Thanks to this, re-advancing to the last level becomes more enjoyable.
However, it is currently not possible to win such a Prestige in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. You may be able to buy it through micropayments in the future.
They can only be unlocked by players who reached experience level 40 during the multiplayer beta. The beta was short, so that’s a big problem. Anyone who has been successful should find such an emblem in the Prestige menu under the “Fulfill and Unlock” tab at the bottom of the screen.
