In a fight for a better future, Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo and Nikolai travel to a secret laboratory in the basement of the famous Alcatraz, where they quickly learn that the future they are fighting for is in grave danger.
The vast territory of the prison can crush anyone. Therefore, we recommend playing a few “warm-up” games before seriously starting a mission and following the instructions in this guide – this way it will be easier for you to understand the field conditions.
The following tips will introduce you to the main scenario systems (which are a remake of the Black Ops 2 mission). We’ll show you how to turn on the power, unlock the weapon upgrade machine, and present the entire path of the mainstream transition.
After the start of the game, we rise and go to the area on the western side of the location. Next, open the gate (1) for the power plant. Upon entering the building, note the power switch on the west wing on the left.
To turn on the current in the east wing, we must go to the main prison blocks. From there, go down into the underground tunnels. The switch is located at the end of the corridor in building 64 (2). In case of trouble, we can follow the arrow that looks like lightning on the walls.
By turning on the light, we get access to all possible doors and skills.
In the Blood of the Dead mission, as in the previous scenarios, we only have access to the four previously selected skill machines. This time they are vending machines and not god figures.
The first one is the infusion machine (3) that we find next to the power plant, next to the place where we start the game. Next on the list is tonic (4). He will be waiting for us in the headquarters office behind the main cell blocks.
The penultimate water machine (5) is in the infirmary. We will reach this room by going through the second floor of the cell block.
The last automaton is the cola (6), located near the bridge in the docks. We can get there by van from the cell block or from the port itself.
We need this shield in many of the guides below. Also, it works well as a weapon. His power is to suck out the souls of his enemies, which can then be used as an aid in combat.
The first part of the shield (7) is in the tunnel, which is the link between building 64 and the tunnels under the citadel. The other place where we find the component is in the aforementioned tunnels.
The next step is to get the key (8) from the head – we must kill him and take the key. Then charge it with life essence in one of the fuse boxes (9) in the cell blocks.
There’s nothing we can do to build a shield at the table at the docks. We can charge the shield by draining souls using the mouse button. When the number of zombies killed is around five, the key turns on, which means it is ready to be used.
Scattered on the map are a couple of blue boxes in which we can shoot with spectral breathing. They will help us get to previously closed areas, others will give us a short bonus.
Weapon Protection (Puck-A-Punch)
Another point of the guide is to find a place where we can improve our weapons. The first strengthening machine is on the roof of the prison, passing through the infirmary (10).
There you have to use the spectral breath (11) with the shield to access the Machine.
Every few rounds, machines can be found elsewhere. In addition to the roof, it will appear in building 64 or at the power plant.
To get a tomahawk, kill a few zombies.
The first one can be found in the new industrial building (12), not far from where the game starts. The next one is on the second level of the prison blocks (13) and the last one is on the road leading to the headquarters (14).
Then we go to the shower and enter the underground portal. Thanks to this, we can pick up a tomahawk lying on a stone.
At the portal, we will have little time to assemble the Tomahawk.
To improve Tomahawk, we need to unlock Pack’a ‘Punch and of course Tomahawk. Then we go for a walk, where we kill about 30 zombies with accurate ax throws.
When we hear a wolf howl, a blue head of this animal appears somewhere on the map, which we will only see in spectral mode, using a shield.
The first two places where the wolf’s head appears are on the carriage (15). One will be hidden in the abyss, and the other one is on the right wall. The next two can be found in the Citadel, near the underground portal.
The last two can be found on the way to the headquarters apartments (16). We will see them on the prison wall or in the abyss.
We have to throw a tomahawk at their heads. The wolf will bring us the ax and return the main equipment.
In the next round, in which dogs will appear, we are looking for the spirit of the wolf holding our axe. It will only bypass the prison where the targets are. We kill an animal with a spectral effect.
The slow movements of the wolf will make our task easier.
When we pass through the portal from the showers to the headquarters, we will be able to assemble an improved version of the infernal tomahawk.
Blundergat, a wonderful weapon, you can get it from a mysterious chest or get it in the following way.
After unlocking the current, building the shield and getting the infernal tomahawk, we must find four skulls to crush with the axe. To find out their location, we enter the spectral mode on the target and make a projection. When the skulls are returned to us along with the Tomahawk, it means that they have been collected.
The first skull can be found on the stairs (17) leading to the building where we started the game. The next one will be in the prison cell (18) in the CD corridor.
From there we go to the roof. The skull lies on a pallet, to the right of the machine. The next place of the skull is the docks (19). He will be on the third wooden pillar from the left.
The last skull can be found on one of the electric poles (20).
Corrosive Decay is a special Poison-based Blundergat upgrade. To do this, we must collect three pieces scattered around the map.
The first part can be found in the closet, in the infirmary (21), right in front of the rooftop entrance. The next one will be waiting in the room at the intersection of the transition (22). In the tunnel (23) between the new industrial building and the power plant, the last element will be waiting.
By collecting weapons at the table located in the same tunnel as the last part, we can take them and kill more waves of enemies.
Magmus Operandi is the second Blundergat weapon update. He focuses on fire and shockwave. To create a weapon, we go to the headquarters and place the Blundergat or other upgrade in the fireplace (24).
Then fill the skulls over the fire with zombie souls (by killing the enemies). When all three are highlighted in blue, we can take a weapon.
This is not the end of the task. The weapon will be called the Hardened Blundergat and is currently useless. We must run to the new industrial building, bypassing all enemies. On the way, we collect blue essences (25) from barrels. After we arrive, place the weapon in the forge (26). In a few minutes we will get Magmus Operandi.
If the weapon fires soon, we can repeat the whole process.
The cutter is a weapon to fight at close range. You can upgrade it and turn it into a spoon. In order to get it, we need to make sure that we have built a spectral shield and that we have an infernal tomahawk.
Then we go to the headman’s room (27). Standing back at the drinks machine, we enter spectral mode. On three pillars we see notes with numbers. We suggest keeping the combination.
The next step is to go to the tunnels (28) under the citadel. There you will find a panel with three numbers. After using spectral breathing on the device, we can enter our code.
If the combination was correct, the cage at the top of the tunnel will fall all the way to the bottom. We go to the docks (29), where we again use spectral breathing on the blue device with the inscription “Volt”.
When the crane moves in our direction, we throw the ax at the net hanging on it. The spoon will fall on the chest under the faucet.
Improved version. This is the most powerful melee weapon in Blood of the Living Dead. He can kill with one hit up to 34 rounds.
In addition to the requirements included in the guide section to help you get a spoon, you must also have a corneal swab or Magmus Operandi with you in order to complete the following steps.
In the dispensary (30), go to one of the baths and use the action button to leave our spoon. Then go to the rooftop and start killing zombies using only the magical weapons listed above.
When the bath is full, we will again use the action button, which will free the bath from the blood.
Go to the bridge (31) that connects the prison with the area of the map where we started the game. In the middle, look at the water tower and throw the tomahawk. So we should get the golden spoon.
By opening the console in the tunnels (32) under the citadel and entering the code 115, we will get a hidden song implemented in the “Blood of the Living Dead”.
To complete this easter egg, we need a sniper that we can extract from the mystery box. Then we will go for a walk and look through the scope at the window of the house (33) in the wall.
In one of the places where zombies spawn, we can see a small marble monkey (34). Standing in this place and killing enemies with a special weapon of level two or higher, fill the monkey with souls.
When the monkey’s head turns red, we shoot it with conventional weapons. Then we go to the room (35) where we started the game and get three monkeys as a reward.
After one of them falls, it will attract all surrounding zombies and then explode. This is the perfect weapon.
