Thanks to autosave, you can not worry about the death of the main character. You can always respawn and start the mission from the last checkpoint. Also, there is a manual save. The tasks are interesting and arranged in chronological order. You can set your own difficulty level. The greater the difficulty, the less injuries the protagonist will be able to endure. It is better not to get hit by bullets at all and try to duck down, or even crawl through the territory of hostilities.

The hero has a small inventory that he carries with him. There will be two large weapons, a pistol and grenades. And all this is optional. Also, in close combat, you can use the butt to push the enemy away from you.
