Capcom, at an online presentation, spoke about its new game Exoprimal and shared plans for post-release support for the game.
The main game mode is Dino Survival, where two teams of 5 people kill dinosaurs at speed, and at the end of the match they either fight each other or join forces to kill the boss. The player will be able to choose between three Dino Survival options: PvE (no final fight with the players), PvP (with a final fight), Random (the mode is chosen randomly and the player receives a 20% bonus to experience). For completing missions, you will receive experience and in-game currency to enhance your combat exosuits. The Savage Gauntlet mode, which will become available with the start of the first season, is characterized by increased difficulty and will require the player to upgrade exosuits.
Seasons in Exoprimal include Seasonal Battle Passes, game updates, and collaborations with other projects. The first season kicks off on July 28, 2 weeks after the launch of the game, and will run for 3 months. On August 16, the first game update will be released, in which players will receive 10 new combat exosuits.
The second season starts around mid-October, the game will receive a collaboration with the Street Fighter 6 fighting game, new world maps, final missions, leagues, modules, etc.
The third season is scheduled for January 2024 and will introduce a new type of exosuit and a new boss, as well as a collaboration with the Monster Hunter series.
Exoprimal will release on July 14, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The game will immediately fall into the Game Pass subscription.
