CD Projekt wont disclose first quarter sales of Cyberpunk 2077 The mobile version of the MMORPG Moonlight Blade was launched in South Korea - Moonlight Blade Mobile

We learned this week that CD Projekt is losing money over Cyberpunk 2077 and Sony’s decision to remove the game from the virtual PlayStation Store. While the company is hoping for a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S release, Cyberpunk sales for the first quarter are not as rosy. If you believe Forbes, then CD Projekt is not going to disclose the exact numbers of copies sold. This is due to the fact that the company usually shares this information when the number reaches a large and “round” figure.

With retail, everything is more complicated: these guys bought copies of Cyberpunk last year, then CDPR reported its income. For the new year, apparently, there were no deliveries to retailers and they sell “old” copies. If this is true, then on those discs there is a version of Cyberpunk 2077 without major and minor patches that continue to this day.

Optimistic analysts predict 27 million copies of Cyberpunk 2077 sold in 2021, but even with the release of the new generation version, CDPR is unlikely to reach these numbers – the supply of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S will be limited even in 2022.
