Chinese regulators have issued permission to publish the anime action film Ananta in the country. The project became one of 122 games from Chinese developers that received a license on December 23, 2024. Judging by the information in the database, the game will be released on PC, mobile devices and PlayStation 5. Taking into account the fact that the developers previously hinted at a larger number of platforms, this license is designed specifically for conducting user tests. Already on January 3 and 4, 2025, the first offline tests will take place with the participation of third-party users.
Ananta is an anime-style action game with attractive graphics, an action-oriented combat system and a large city with a lot of activities and points of interest. NetEase and its studio Naked Rain are responsible for the development. The procedure is currently underway pre-registrationin which more than eight million people have already taken part. The release date remains unknown.
