The editor of the portal wccftech.com spoke with the director of the brand, Alex Hayter, and found out some interesting technical details about the upcoming multiplayer action game Chivalry 2. It was announced that the game will receive trace support. And we are talking not only about the PC, but also about the consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. True, this will not happen immediately, but some time after the release.
Along with ray tracing, the PC version will acquire support for NVIDIA DLSS technology, which will significantly improve performance. The current generation consoles will also have a frame rate unlock option, removing the 60 FPS cap.
The release of Chivalry 2 will take place on June 8, 2021 on PC (EGS), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. There are no plans to release the game on Nintendo Switch, as stated in the same interview.
