Noodle Cat Games studio has announced the exact release date of the cooperative adventure role-playing action game called Cloudheim. The game will be available in early access on December 4, 2025 on PC via Steam And Epic Games Store. A full release, including on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Serie X|S consoles, is expected in 2026.
Early access to Cloudheim is expected to last between 9 and 12 months. At launch, the game will have content for dozens of hours of gameplay, but by release the developers plan to add more systems and content.
Cloudheim is a co-op adventure Action RPG for up to four players. The game takes place in a world that has experienced the catastrophic Ragnarok. Heroes have been chosen to form the next kingdom, and now they must fight back the spreading Corruption.
The journey begins from your flying base, Odin’s Shell, a giant ancient turtle. From here, the heroes set out to explore mysterious islands and ever-changing dungeons, such as the icy tombs of Frostwaldr and the volcanic regions of Pyregard. The combat system is based on physics and allows you to use the environment to win: collapse columns on enemies, drag opponents into tornadoes, launch exploding barrels. There is a big emphasis on creating powerful combos of abilities and coordinating team combos for devastating damage.
Cloudheim offers an original approach to progression, combining adventure with life simulation. The creation of weapons, equipment and new abilities takes place in the workshop on Odin’s Shell using visual crafting, which does not require stopping the gameplay for other participants. All unlocked abilities and weapons become common to the entire team, allowing for joint development. Players can transform their humble workshop into a thriving retail outlet, serving customers from all over the kingdom. Replenishing shelves, fulfilling orders and expanding the range are necessary to accumulate funds and increase reputation. The heroes are aided in their adventures by fantastic creatures, including the cute Pancakes, who provide support, and Gnasher, whose stomach is an endless void.
