At the end of 2020, we learned that Ash Williams and the Necronomicon would return to consoles and PC as a new game, Evil Dead: The Game. This is a cooperative horror game where players are divided into two teams: survivors and demons. In this regard, the project resembles Friday 13th: The Game, only there are a lot of evil guys and they can infect both the bot monsters and the rest of the survivors. Since then, nothing has been known about the project, but everything changed after one tweet… It turns out that at Summer Game Fest 2021 we will be shown the first video of the gameplay. It will happen on June 10th, that is, at the opening of the conference, which will be hosted by Jeff Keely. Read more here.

Evil Dead: The Game is being developed on new and old generation consoles. And if Nintendo does not show an improved Switch Pro console, then the developers will have to work on optimizations. By the way, several studios are working on the project, among them: Lionsgate Games, Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive. The latter made Crysis Remastered (optimization issues), as well as Halo 2: Anniversary and Halo 3.

In addition to Ash Williams, we will be able to play as his little sister. Generally Evil Dead: The Game is inspired by three original films. Awaiting the release date at Summer Game Fest 2021.
