Co-op horror film REANIMAL has reached release

Tarsier Studios, with the support of publisher THQ Nordic, has released a cooperative horror adventure called REANIMAL. A new game from the creators of Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares II is available on PC in the service Steam for 1,500 rubles, as well as on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles.

“The REANIMAL experience truly reflects the essence of Tarsier – a group of people with a shared vision who feel honored to have the opportunity to work on a game like this,” said Oliver Merlöw, Managing Director of Tarsier Studios. “We believe that the more personal the art is, the more attention paid to every detail, the more the game deserves the attention of players. We can’t wait for them to start playing REANIMAL!”

Unfortunately, the launch of REANIMAL was not without problems. At the time of writing this news, the game has only 36% positive reviews. Users mainly complain about the lack of a Friend’s Pass, which allows you to play the game in co-op with only one copy. The developers have already promised to clarify the situation in the near future.

UPD: A few hours later, Friend’s Pass became available. The reviews have become positive.

REANIMAL is a two-player horror adventure. The main characters are a brother and sister who embark on a nightmarish journey to save their missing friends. Players will have to use their wits and dexterity to survive on land and water, constantly helping each other to escape the hellish island and get rid of the dark secrets that haunt them.

The game world is filled with disconnected pieces of history, and the main road is only part of this crazy place. During a dangerous journey, players will discover mysterious corners, each of which will tell them something new. The developers paid a lot of attention to the camera, which was specially implemented in such a way that it created an oppressive atmosphere of claustrophobia and tension during the game together.
