In August last year, ASUS introduced the seventh series of ZenFone smartphones. The main advantage that distinguishes the flagships of this line on the market is the retractable camera module. Now there is an active discussion on the Web and there are many rumors about the release of the eighth series of ZenFone mobile devices.
More interest in the release of these new products appeared after the ZenFone 8 Mini was spotted on the Geekbench certification platform. Reports indicate that the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset as well as 16GB of RAM. In performance tests, the device scores well thanks to the Adreno 660 GPU. The ZenFone 8 Mini is rumored to have a 5.9-inch OLED display, FHD + support and a decent 120Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, little is known about the camera yet; it is expected to have a 64MP primary lens and a new Sony secondary lens. There is no information about the battery capacity, but the smartphone will support fast charging with a maximum power of 30W.
At the moment, this is all that is known about the upcoming new product. It is worth noting that a mobile device may be the most compact flagship powered by the most powerful processor from Qualcomm.
