Pearl Abyss took part in the OTK Games Expo 2025 event, an online showcase where gaming influencers showcase new releases. The studio presented an extended demo of one of the storylines of the upcoming action role-playing game Crimson Desert.
A demo of Crimson Desert was shown at the event’s finale. The show’s hosts, which included popular streamers Sodapoppin and Asmongold, got to experience key elements of the open world firsthand. They demonstrated mechanics such as cutting down trees, stealing items, as well as realistic physical effects of interaction with environmental objects.
Asmongold gave the game high praise on stream, particularly praising the freedom provided by the open world and the rich potential for interaction. He stated that he was so impressed with Crimson Desert that he expects to spend 200–300 hours on the game upon its release.
Crimson Desert is positioned as a large-scale adventure game that will be released on PC and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles worldwide. Pre-orders are already open at a price of 4299 rubles in Steam.
