The open world and dynamic gameplay of Crimson Desert from the Pearl Abyss studio earned the game the title of best game of the G-Star 2024 exhibition. The project won the Game of G-Star category, which is awarded by the Game Journalists Club of Korea for innovation, gameplay and overall level of execution. This year, it was the upcoming new product from the authors of MMORPG Black Desert that received the most votes.
At the show, Crimson Desert stood out with its large-scale booth, high-quality graphics, exciting combat system and sophisticated gameplay, which ensured its popularity among visitors.
Crimson Desert is being developed on the new BlackSpace Engine and will tell the story of mercenaries fighting for their goals in the vastness of the continent of Pywell. The game will offer realistic characters, a deep plot and a large-scale open world.
Crimson Desert is scheduled for release in the first half of 2025 on PC and consoles.
