Cobblestone is a fairly large map with lots of choke points, places to hide, a wide variety of heights, and big bombsites. The latter must be well protected. Battles are usually centered on the B site because it is easier for the Terrorists to isolate the counter-terrorists defending the point with smoke grenades and flares. Moreover, terrorists can easily move from point B to point A if necessary – which cannot be said about counter-terrorists.
Below you will find a list of suggested smoke grenade throws that can be useful during the game.
Position yourself in the corner, away from the wall, and hover over the point marked in the picture. Then release LMB.
The grenade will fly up over the roof of the tunnel and fall onto the stairs, blocking the visibility of players trying to defend that position.
While standing in the same corner, you can also perform another roll. Aim the crosshair at the marked position and throw with the LMB while jumping.
The grenade will fly through the entire point B, and this will limit visibility on one side.
Position yourself in the indicated location and move the cursor over the marked point, which is located just above the edge of the wall. Throw with LMB.
The grenade will fly through the entire point B and create a smoke screen on the other side.
Get up from the wall, next to the crates. Target at the marked point. Throw with LMB.
The grenade will bounce off the tower and fall, blocking the visibility of players looking out of the canyon.
Stand in the corner of the building, move away from the wall and hover over the point shown in the picture. You must roll while moving with LMB.
You will create a smoke screen in the door between the passage and point B.
Stand in the corner of the corridor and hover over the marked point. You must roll with the LMB.
The grenade will bounce off the board and fall. This will create a smoke cover that will restrict the view of players looking from the entrance to point B.
Standing in the same place, aim at the point marked on the wall and then throw a grenade with the LMB.
The grenade will fall and create a smoke screen from the side of the window. This will take you to point B.
Position yourself in the designated area, with your back against the wall. Aim at the point marked in the picture. Throw with LMB while jumping.
The grenade will fly through the center of A and create a smoke screen in the passage door.
Position yourself in the corner and hover over the marked point. Now just drop with LMB.
The grenade will fall at point A and create a smoke screen on the right side of the armored vehicle.
Position yourself at the specified location and hover over the marked point. The throw must be performed while jumping and with the help of LMB.
The grenade will land where Bomb A can be planted. This will create a smoke screen in the middle of a small courtyard.
Move back from the wall and hover over the point shown in the picture – it is located between the two higher electrical cables. Throw with LMB.
The grenade will bounce off the wall and fall across the balcony. This will create a smoke cover.
Stand with your back to the wall and hover over the marked point. You must roll with the LMB.
The grenade will bounce off the wall and fall into long passage B. This will restrict the view of players trying to enter the point from that side.
Stand with your back to the pillar on B. Then aim at the point shown in the picture and throw a grenade with the LMB.
The grenade will fall to point B and create cover that will limit the visibility of the players due to the fountain.
Sit in a corner, with your back to the wall. Aim at the marked point, which is just above the wall. Throw with LMB.
The grenade will create a smoke screen near the fountain – it will allow you to plant the bomb.

While running, aim at the point marked in the picture and release LMB.
The grenade will bounce off the crate and fall into the tunnel. This will blind all players looking in that direction.
Sit in a corner, with your back to the wall. Aim at the point marked in the picture. The grenade must be thrown while jumping using LMB.
The grenade will bounce off the wall and fall through the window. Then it will explode in the air and blind everyone.
Stand in the corner of the corridor and hover over the marked point. Now just unlock the grenade and throw it with LMB.
The grenade will bounce off the board and fall. It will explode there and blind all players in that narrow passage.
Position yourself in the corner of the room and hover over the point marked in the picture. Throw with LMB while moving forward.
The grenade will hit the room and blind all players looking from the center.
Standing behind the barrels in the alcove at point A, place the crosshair on the marked spot. Then jump and throw a grenade.
The grenade will bounce off the wall, then fly over the narrow roof and explode a little further. This will blind all players looking towards point A. It is worth noting that the grenade will not cause you any harm – you can immediately attack.
Moving along the passage to the center A, move the cursor to the point marked in the picture and release the LMB.
The grenade will explode high in the air and blind all players in the area.
Below you can see several places where you can ask your ally to position himself so that you can jump on his back.
Ask an ally to jump onto the wooden palette and crouch. Then jump on his back and jump again so that the ally stops crouching.
You will now have a good shooting position from which you can see an area that counter-terrorists can pass through. From here, you can also jump into the corridor and move a little further.
To quickly get to the balcony, ask your ally to provide you with support in this place.
Ask your ally to crouch more or less at this stage. Then jump on your back and go out to the balcony.
From this position, you can observe the entire passage and wait for the enemy.
When entering B, ask your ally to give you a lift to a high basket.
By crouching behind a small box, you are completely invisible to players arriving from point B. This will allow you to kill the enemy much earlier.
Ask an ally to crouch next to the wall and jump on his back. Then jump to let an ally stop crouching.
Now you will have a good shooting position from which you can observe the passage leading to the center of the map.
Places to ambush
Below you can see a few places that can be useful when setting a trap for an enemy or when moving around the map and eliminating threats.
A very popular position is on a haystack, next to the aisle. Typically, this is where you will find the enemy waiting for the arrival of terrorists trying to reach point A.
The narrow window is often used by terrorists when turning from point B to point A.
The small alcove at point A is where you can often find a player defending access to that point. Climbing up on the barrels, you can patrol the area and shoot right away.

This is a good sniping position for players defending access to point B. Always check this place when entering the point. If there is an enemy there, use grenades to limit his vision and destroy him.
If you have a good position after the start of the round, you can try to take the sniper position on the stairs facing the passage. When an enemy appears in your line of sight, you can shoot and retreat to safety.
Another good place to get the first frag is the position near the entrance to the tunnel that leads to the center of the terrorist map. Enemies can use this route to get to point A. After firing, you can immediately retreat to safety and sound the alarm to your team.
The spot behind the fountain at point B is a very popular position for snipers. It provides a view of the tunnel on long B. After shooting, you can immediately hide behind the object.
Shooting at the top of the tower, near the terrorist spawn point. Here you will have a very good view in the center of the map.
The position behind the cart allows you to shoot and immediately hide from the enemy.
Behind the monument in the center of the map, a very good position if you’re playing Terrorists. Here you can wait for the enemies running down the passage.
The low terrain position allows you to crouch and hide behind the front dumpster. Here you will have a very good view of the entire passage that leads to point A.

If you start the round as a terrorist, you can quickly run to the B site and sit in a position overlooking the hole in the wall from the side of the B site. You will always get there faster for the counter-terrorists, which means that you can wait for them here and try to get the first frag in the round.
The view in the upper corridor where the terrorists can jump down when they try to get to point A from point B or when they attack point B from the other side.
When entering the middle of the terrorist map, you should always try not to enter an open area without a smoke screen or flash. You never know if there is an enemy with a sniper weapon, as shown in the picture above.
