Square Enix has officially unveiled the next major expansion for the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV called Dawntrail. It will be released in the summer of 2024 and will bring a new story with it. The announcement took place during the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest event.
At the moment, there are few details about Dawntrail. It is known that two DPS classes will be added to the game, and the maximum level will increase to 100. The developers promise to tell more information at the upcoming presentations, which will be held in London on October 21-22, 2023 and in Tokyo on January 7-8, 2024.
In addition, it was announced that Final Fantasy XIV will finally make its way to the Xbox Series X|S. This will happen in the spring of 2024, but before that, open beta testing will take place.
