The real-time strategy Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition received another paid addition called “The Mountain Royals”. You can purchase it on PC in stores Steam and Microsoft Store for $14.99, but it is not officially sold in Russia.

Playing as the Armenians, you will be able to revive the ancient mountain principality near lakes Van, Sevan and Urmia. Their unique units are a archer with a compound bow and a warrior monk who fights in close combat and can heal allies. When playing as Georgians, you will have the opportunity to create a prosperous principality among the Caucasus Mountains and take advantage of the terrain. A unique unit is the Monaspa – powerful horsemen whose strength grows with their numbers.

The Mountain Kings expansion also added three story campaigns:

  • “The Rise of Tamara” — You play as the young Queen of Georgia Tamara, who ascended the throne with grandiose plans for the development of the state.
  • “Toros the Great” – In the role of Prince Thoros, who has escaped from captivity, you need to liberate your homeland, Cilician Armenia – a tiny kingdom sandwiched between two warring empires.
  • “Ismail” — Charismatic strategist Ismail, leader of the mysterious Sefawie order, returned from exile to the war-torn Persian highlands and united his followers, and now he will lay the foundations of one of the most successful empires.

Below you can check out the new trailer for the expansion.
