The developers of the cooperative first-person shooter Payday 3 suddenly announced that they had removed Denuvo anti-piracy protection. The appearance of this protection became known at the beginning of last month, but it seems that it will not be in the full version.
“Hello, robbers! We want to let you know that Denuvo is no longer in PAYDAY 3. We look forward to seeing you in New York! Happy robbery!” – said SBZ_Almir from Starbreeze Studios.
Payday 3 is the sequel to the successful co-op first-person shooter Payday 2, released in 2013. The gameplay remained in the spirit of previous parts, but received some improvements – for example, in the progression system, opponents, balance, and so on. You can choose different ways to complete tasks, from covert penetration to open combat.
Payday 3 will be released on September 21, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Early access for Silver and Gold editions will begin on September 18, 2023.
