Diabloid Dragonkin: The Banished will leave early access next month

Eko Software studio has announced the exact release date of the isometric role-playing action game Dragonkin: The Banished, which is in early access on PC in the service Steam. The full version will be released on March 16, 2026. On the same day, the game will be available for the first time on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

The developers also confirmed that online multiplayer in Dragonkin: The Banished will appear this month, on February 26, 2026. Players will be able to meet in the hub, team up with each other to complete missions together, level up the city together, freely exchange items, teleport to other players and resurrect fallen characters. Each party member will receive their own loot, but you can share it with others if you wish. If there is a character of a lower level on your team, he will receive increased experience.

In addition, players should expect the following changes:

  • Skills now cost mana, and generators are now an optional modifier. A system of skill ranks has been introduced.
  • Ability to rotate fragments on the skill board, making leveling easier and saving space.
  • 7 new talents (1-2 per class) and 2 new ability modifiers.
  • Linear upgrade of the city with an improvement tree. Services open as the city level increases.
  • New NPC offering all hero and wyvern skills.
  • An assistant who automatically collects gold and resources around the character.
  • Ancestor system at level 50+, giving bonuses to characteristics and passive skills. They can be combined through the mechanics of offerings and affinity on a special wall in the cathedral.
  • The tasks became shorter and more intense (10–25 minutes). We removed unnecessary legwork and added semi-bosses or champions to the final of each map.
  • 7 major and several minor champions with unique modifiers.

After release, the Blood Scales Edition will go on sale. It will include four cosmetic packs given away for free during Early Access as a thank you for player support. Please note that at the time of writing the news you can get the third set, and in the near future it will be replaced by the fourth. The first two are no longer available for purchase.
