Apple yesterday unveiled AirPods (3rd generation). They offer spatial audio and adaptive EQ, but this comes at the expense of autonomy.
AirPods 3 is one of the new Apple products for which a separate presentation was made. These headphones feature dynamic head-tracking spatial audio, plus an adaptive equalizer that adjusts to the “ear geometry”. And if you’re worried about the lack of bass, then Apple has inserted some kind of dynamic driver into the AirPods 3; that is, we are promised “crystal clear” high and low notes.
Moving on, the microphones in the 3rd generation AirPods are covered with an acoustic mesh, reducing wind noise to the maximum. And with the help of a new sensor, the headphones recognize more gestures: turning on, stopping and rewinding a track, answering and ending calls. If you are afraid of sweat and water, the case together with the “ears” are protected according to the IPX4 standard. This will allow them to be used in the rain and during training.
And now the bad news – Airpods 3 will last up to 6 hours. If you recharge from the case (which must also be charged), then in total the headphones will live “up to 30 hours”. And this is for 16 490 rubles with delivery within 1-2 weeks, although six months of Apple Music subscription may seem like a tasty offer. You can order Airpods 3 through official site…
