Is it easy to survive in a survival game? Depends on what game it is. There are those in which the most important thing is to find weapons as soon as possible, there are those in which you need to start building a base as soon as possible, there are those in which you better quickly find some food. All this can still be complicated by the presence of enemies and a hostile environment. We have one toy that we would like to offer you. She is a survivor, but she has a number of features that make her unique and completely different from others. To begin with, let’s call it – this is probably a well-known Don’t Starve. And what are its unique features? In short – the style and the meaning invested in the game, as well as the fact that you have to survive not in the ordinary world, but in some strange, unusual, invented by someone … However, you will soon find out by whom.

Game process

If you are playing the normal version of the game for the first time, then you can only play as the first of all characters, namely Wilson Percival Higgsberry, a scientist mister who will win with the power of his mind. What to win? Probably everything. So, you find yourself in a clearing (if you are lucky) at the beginning of autumn (also if you are lucky), and a strange man in a neat and smart suit with a red flower in his buttonhole advises you to find food before dark. Good advice, and you should follow it if you have a head on your shoulders. There is a lot of grass around you, bushes with branches, possibly flints and berries – if you are lucky, we repeat once again your task is to create a source of light for yourself and collect food before nightfall. In general, you will have to figure it out yourself, we don’t have a guide here (although I would like to). The gameplay consists of you creating a base, collecting materials (more often you have to mine rather than gather), look for food (hunt, pick berries, grow vegetables, pick up seeds, break ice), try not to die from enemies. Also, you must be prepared for winter with its cold and summer with its heat that kills even faster than the cold. But more importantly, you get to know the world. And he’s weird.

Glades, savannahs, rocky plains, swamps – these are the biomes in this world. It is always different, because with each new start of the game, the world is randomly generated. A variety of creatures live here, which you have never seen in real life, but which are very similar to ordinary terrestrial animals. Take the same bifalo or horned rabbits. The world is alive. And by that we mean that it will react to your actions. Yes, you have to survive, and you need logs, but the protector of the forest does not like this, so you better not overdo it. Yes, you need to survive and you need meat, but you will have to answer to Krampus for the overkill of rabbits. And when you explore the world, you can find some pretty strange things – for example, a lever from an unknown something, or, which is also dangerous, decide to get too close to huge chess pieces … Or you will be left at night without a light source. Who lives in the dark? What are these strange things? What are they needed for? You can answer all questions when you find Maxwell’s door. That’s what it’s called, and you can activate it and get to another world by starting a new game mode in five chapters – adventure mode. This is already a plot, so we advise you to definitely go through this door to find out, finally … Just know that the adventure mode is more complicated, and you will never know what awaits you in the next chapter. Also in this mode, the goal changes a little – survive, but do not forget to look for items – the same ones that in normal mode seemed like useless props. However, that’s all.
