Across the Obelisk is a card strategy game with Rogue-Like elements, flowery storytelling and an experimental style that mixes together fantasy elements, European animation and caricatures of religion. It is interesting to watch the events taking place on the screen even from the sidelines – around there are pretentious huts and mansions woven from gingerbread, werewolves in shining armor, princesses with tattoos and painted lips, and priests in robes and with a bottle of wine.

The characters are extremely expressive, and the sights are enough for dozens of hours of impressions and unexpected discoveries … The gameplay is less inventive: the events unfold in special gladiatorial arenas between the squads. On the right is a deck with randomly issued cards, in the center is a block with available attack and defense spells, and on the left are items, found artifacts and treasures.

The key goal is to competently use the listed tools and defeat opponents on the other side of the arena. And the faster, the better: every mistake leads to a loss of vitality, and without a reserve of health it is impossible to get out and win a couple of champion trophies.
