Dreadlands is about the world of the post-apocalyptic future, where only inveterate villains and the last villains survive. According to the classic genre, after the destruction of the usual infrastructure, skirmishes for food and weapons became commonplace, but the resource Glonithium, or in abbreviated form “Glow”, began to be in greatest demand. Its extraction will be our first priority, however, it will not be as easy as it might seem at first glance.

Regarding the genre – we are waiting for a turn-based strategy in the spirit of modern XCOM. The gameplay will vary dramatically depending on the equipment used with the used improvements from the extensive skill tree. Our enemies will be not only raiders living in the newly formed wastelands, but also real players. It is not necessary to fight with the latter, they will fit for the formation of short-term alliances designed to help with the passage of bosses or outposts.

The visual style is dominated by cold tones intertwined with “acid colors”. The characters’ looks are inspired by the Borderlands series, complemented by inventive work with the outfit. Due to the open world, the developers managed to implement several dozen locations with original decoration that can tell even more about the man-made disaster that happened.
