Expeditions: Rome is a tactical RPG from Logic Artists with an atmospheric medieval feel and flowery storyline revolving around a fearless Roman legionnaire who lost his father to a regional political upheaval.

The hero, unexpectedly meeting death, instantly reconsidered his views on life, but instead of a quiet life in the wilderness, he suddenly decided to join a detachment of soldiers and get out of his native lands for battles in Greece. There you have to suppress the uprising, and at the same time – focus on finding those who are behind the death of his father … The story in the strategy is presented through dialogues, animated screensavers and text messages sought out in notes and diaries.

The plot is florid and changes a lot depending on the decisions made. The developers immediately remind – not necessarily – even in the Middle Ages – to solve problems with the help of weapons. Diplomacy can sometimes turn the outcome of every dispute and provide unexpected benefits, such as a new ally and valuable supplies. But everyone has their own path and is built from deeds and exploits.
