Hoplegs is an independent arcade game from WhyKev studio with an experimental style and no less extravagant gameplay based on interaction with a multi-colored cube that dreams of reaching a subtle point on the horizon. The hero is focused on the result, but is hardly able to count on feats – the whole state of the body is to blame.

The cube has lost its arms and legs long ago, and therefore has to rely on objects found around – sticks, candy canes, road signs and even pegs torn out of the fence – any little thing picked up on the way to a dream is suitable for each side. And only time will tell what such “prostheses” will lead to.

The gameplay in the arcade is meditative and devoid of time frames or plot restrictions (no one forces you to rush and react to obstacles around with lightning speed), but it is full of other difficulties – we are talking mainly about the control system (problems will arise without a gamepad) and the built-in editor with access to the workshop. If desired, additional maps are downloaded from the network, and there is no balance and tips, only hardcore – unbearable and unpredictable …
